Vacation Watch

To enroll in the Kensington Police Department's Vacation Watch Program please complete the online submission form below. You may also get in touch with the Kensington Police Department by emailing your Vacation Watch Form to Sgt. Brian Lande. If you need assistance obtaining a vacation watch form or need to coordinate picking up a paper copy, please call KPD dispatch at 510-525-7573.

Residents requesting the vacation home watch service should be aware that we will make every reasonable effort to inspect your property during your absence. However, due to various circumstances, we may not be able to conduct checks on specific days or at all. While we aim to provide daily property checks, we cannot guarantee them. It’s important to note that vacation checks do not ensure that no crime will occur while you are away; they are intended as a crime prevention measure to reduce the likelihood of incidents and increase the detection of crimes prior to your return. If you have any questions or need further clarification regarding our ability to provide this service, please contact the on-duty supervisor by reaching out to KPD Dispatch at 510-525-7573.
