Bayview Refuse & Recycling Service Inc. (Bayview) is Kensington Police Protection and Community Services District's provider of garbage, recycling, and organic collection.

All Kensington Police Protection and Community Services District residents and businesses are required to use weekly collection service. For compliance and processes, review the Franchise Agreement between Kensington Police Protection and Community Services District and Bayview.

The only holidays that affect the pickup schedule are Christmas and New Year’s Day. Pickups on those days and subsequent pickups that week will be one day late.

Refuse, Recycling & Organics Collection

Bayview Refuse provides residential and commercial customers with blue, green, and gray carts for waste separation. The blue cart is for commingled recycling, including glass, aluminum, paper, and more. The green cart is for household organics, such as yard waste and food scraps. Hazardous, Universal and E-Waste

The West County Hazardous Waste Facility, accepts a wide variety of hazardous/universal materials and electronic waste. As a service to it’s customers, Bayview Refuse can collect this material and transfport it to the facility through it’s Door to Door program for Kensington residents.
