The Kensington Police Protection & Community Services District (KPPCSD) and the Kensington Fire Protection District (KFPD) jointly commissioned an independent fiscal analysis of the possibility of merging Kensington’s two special districts into one entity. At the Joint Special Board Meeting held on November 7, 2024, the KPPCSD and KFPD boards accepted the fiscal analysis and approved holding a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, January 11th at 10 a.m. in the Kensington Community Center where Dmitry Semenov, the principal of Ridgeline Municipal Strategies, will present the fiscal study to the community.
